Terms for using this website, its resources, forms, and outside donation links.

Using this site

These Terms of Use apply when you visit milansmission.com or use its forms, content, and links. By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully and in a way that does not interfere with the site or harm another person. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the site.

Not an emergency or professional service

Milan's Mission is not an emergency response service, crisis hotline, law-enforcement agency, medical provider, legal service, or mental-health provider. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number.

Information on this site is provided for general education, awareness, and navigation to outside resources. It is not legal, medical, psychological, financial, tax, or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for help from a qualified professional. Do not use the contact form to report an emergency or submit sensitive case details.

Current and future programs

Descriptions of Operation Haven, rescue-support partnerships, rehabilitation services, facilities, timelines, and other future work describe goals and plans. They are not promises that a program, facility, service, or result is available now or will be completed on a particular date. Plans may change as funding, partnerships, legal requirements, and community needs develop.

Donations

Donations are processed on Donorbox or another payment service, whose terms and privacy policy also apply. The donation form controls the amounts, frequency, and designations currently available. You are responsible for reviewing the form before submitting a gift.

Only a designation expressly offered and accepted on the donation form should be treated as a requested designation. Cards, buttons, or program descriptions elsewhere on this site describe mission priorities and do not by themselves promise that a gift will be legally restricted to a particular program. If a restriction is important to you, contact Milan's Mission before donating.

For a recurring donation, use the options in the donation service or contact Milan's Mission for help changing or canceling future charges. If you believe a donation was duplicated or made in error, email team@milansmission.com promptly. Refund requests are reviewed individually and may be subject to payment-provider rules.

Tax-status notice: This site does not promise that a donation is tax deductible. Before claiming a deduction, consult a qualified tax adviser and independently verify the organization's current status with the IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search or the appropriate authority using EIN 87-3103589. Keep the receipt issued by the donation provider for your records.

Outside links and services

The site links to hotlines, service organizations, Donorbox, Milan Candles, and other outside websites. A link is provided for convenience or context and does not mean Milan's Mission controls or guarantees that service. Outside websites have their own terms, privacy practices, availability, and content. Use them based on your own judgment and circumstances.

Content and permitted use

You may link to public pages and share short excerpts for noncommercial educational purposes with clear attribution. Do not copy substantial portions of the site, remove notices, impersonate Milan's Mission, misrepresent a relationship with the organization, probe the site's security, introduce harmful code, or use the site unlawfully. Some content may belong to third parties and remain subject to their rights.

Site availability and accuracy

Milan's Mission works to keep information useful and current but does not guarantee that every page, link, hotline detail, plan, or outside resource will always be complete, accurate, available, or appropriate for every situation. The site may be changed, suspended, or removed without notice. Confirm time-sensitive information directly with the relevant service provider.

Responsibility and limits

You use this site and outside links at your own discretion. To the extent allowed by applicable law, Milan's Mission is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the site or an outside service. Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility or right that applicable law does not allow to be limited.

Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected and used. It is part of these terms.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated when the site, services, or practices change. The “Last updated” date will show when the terms were most recently revised. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply to later use of the site.
