Milan's Mission is in its foundation stage, building the governance, funding, public education, and responsible relationships needed for future work in readiness, rescue support, and survivor-centered rehabilitation.
Mission statement
A house built to protect, restore, and rebuild.
The long-term mission is to help communities recognize risk, support qualified professionals and organizations, and develop responsible survivor-centered pathways for healing and stability. Current work and future goals are identified separately.
The problem
Rescue alone is not enough.
Sex trafficking is a crisis of readiness, protection, restoration, and lasting infrastructure. These are the systems that prevent harm before it begins and help survivors rebuild long after. Exploitation is preventable, and survivors can heal when steady support exists. That long-term work requires qualified partners, safeguards, sustainable funding, and transparent reporting.

Operation Haven
Operation Haven is a proposed future survivor-support campus. It is not currently open or providing residential or direct services. Its possible features, timing, scope, and location depend on funding, qualified partners, approvals, and safeguards.
